What makes Hispanic marketing and marketing to the population so unique? For one, they are younger than any other group in the United States. Close to 70% of the Hispanic population is under the age of 34, according to the US Census Bureau. In addition, the Hispanic population is one of the most diverse groups of people in the United States. Hispanics, especially the young, show an increased preference to be identified by their ancestral nationality (i.e. Mexican, Honduran, etc.).

They are also more digitally connected than any other group and rely on their mobile devices as a primary means for information and Internet access. Research shows 80% of Hispanics now shop online and just over 60% own a smartphone.
